All sessions include

instruction in:

Reading and Spelling

Students will be taught the connection between letters and sounds, and will use that knowledge to strengthen their reading and spelling skills.

Comprehension

Students will practice key skills for processing text and visualizing what they read to improve overall comprehension.

Handwriting

Using the Handwriting Without Tears approach, students will receive consistent guided practice in print and cursive handwriting.

Writing Skills

Students will learn important steps for organizing thoughts and constructing proper sentences and paragraphs.

Phonemic Awareness

Students will learn to identify and distinguish individual sounds in spoken words - a critical skill for reading and writing.
